7.2/10

I had a lovely stay at Bayview On The Park, where the restaurant staff were always cheerful and the food was both good and healthy. The room was clean, but there were a few minor inconveniences during my stay, especially regarding the check-out process, which left a sour taste. Overall, I would recommend it, but be cautious about your billing.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and offered a pleasant smell, but I found it a bit cramped for two people and the bed was uncomfortably hard.
Service
9.0
The staff, particularly Anita and Jerico, were helpful and polite. Jerico was especially impressive despite his short time in Australia.
Location
9.0
The hotel is conveniently located near trams on St Kilda Road, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was mostly positive, though I found breakfast to be a bit lukewarm and lacking in variety.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel foyer was updated and grand, the room amenities were quite limited, which was disappointing.

5.0/10

My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing. The location is decent, but the rooms are outdated and uncomfortable, with an unsettling smell. The service was lackluster, and while there were some good points, overall it fell short of expectations. It's probably best to explore other options.

The rooms felt old and were not as comfortable as expected. Additionally, there was a persistent unpleasant odor.

Service was adequate but lacked warmth, and staff seemed indifferent to concerns.

6.6/10

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. While the spacious room offered a nice view over Albert Park, I faced several annoyances including noise from late-night tourists and issues with parking. The friendly staff and good breakfast somewhat balanced out the drawbacks, but overall, I wouldn't return due to the significant cleanliness and maintenance issues.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious and had a good view, but it was quite dated and clearly in need of repairs. The furniture seemed old and there were plumbing issues.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and approachable, but I was disappointed that no one followed up on my checkout to see if everything was okay.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent, right next to a tram stop and within walking distance to many attractions in the city.
Dining
8.0
Dining was enjoyable, particularly the breakfast, which offered good variety and decent quality. Room service was also surprisingly affordable and tasty.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities need attention, especially the pool area which was dirty and poorly maintained.

5.0/10

I found the hotel to have really competitive prices, and while it was decent for a short stay, many aspects could use improvement. The room size was good with a comfortable bed, but it felt quite worn out and lacked cleanliness, especially with the peculiar cigarette smell lingering. The staff's service was inconsistent, and I was really disappointed with the check-out experience. On the plus side, the location is convenient for accessing the city without dealing with heavy traffic.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a nice size and a comfortable bed, but it felt outdated and had a strong musty and cigarette smell, making it uncomfortable.
Service
5.0
The service was hit or miss; while some staff were friendly, I experienced issues during check-out and a sexist remark that was quite inappropriate.
Location
8.0
The hotel is accessible and avoids CBD traffic, making it convenient for city access while being close to some dining options.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was quite basic and not very appetizing, though it was cheaper than room service.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has some facilities, but they felt neglected and cleanliness was an issue, particularly with the pool area.

I had an incredible stay at Bayview On The Park, where the staff exceeded my expectations with their attentive service amid chaotic circumstances. The room was spacious and comfortable, although I didn’t get the view I hoped for. The location is convenient for events like the Grand Prix or hospital visits. Overall, it's a great value for money, especially with reasonable parking fees and a pleasant atmosphere.

Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious and comfortable, although I specifically requested a higher floor with a better view and ended up with a car park view. However, the room was clean and well-maintained.
Service
10.0
The service was exceptional. The staff were calm, professional, and incredibly attentive to our needs, even when unexpected challenges arose.
Location
8.0
The location is quite convenient, especially for those needing access to nearby hospitals or events. It provides a pleasant atmosphere and isn’t too far from the action.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed room service, which provided delicious meals delivered promptly. The breakfast buffet was adequate but I had hoped for a few more options.
Facilities
6.0
While the facilities are somewhat dated, they are clean and functional. The parking is reasonably priced and adds to the overall value of the stay.
